About the Artist

Welcome to my website and thanks for visiting.   If you have any comments, or interest in a piece of artwork, please Email me.... I promise to get back to you!

I  have  "done art" since early childhood, though without any formal training,  working in pencil and pastels through high school.  In my early twenties I painted in oils for a few years, then put art aside to pursue a business career.  There came a time several years ago where I knew I needed something more creative in my life; I picked up my brushes again and began to paint in earnest.

Western landscapes are my favorite subject, from the golden summer hills along the California coast, to the foothills of the local mountains, the Arizona desert and the Grand Teton range in Wyoming  - the West provides an infinite variety  of inspiring scenes.   I also enjoy painting animals within a landscape.

I am delighted to have artwork hanging at Historic Lighting in Old Town Monrovia.  This beautiful interior design store also has a "western room," HL Ranch, where I have found a perfect place for my western genre paintings.    www.historiclighting.com
